Homes are, similar to phones and cars, emerging into IoT devices, just bigger and more expensive. But in contrast to phones and cars, it is very difficult to standardize technology for homes, as every single one of them is unique in size, shape, furniture, devices, and inhabitants. There are hundreds of devices that supposedly can turn your home into a smart home. But as homes, in comparison to phones, don't have their own nervous system, it's not possible to make them truly smart, yet! Technologies such as powerful connectivity, positioning/mapping, computing, and others are missing and to be implemented. Currently, your home doesn't know who, where and when you are.
